FM receives a copy of the credentials f the new Tunisian ambassador to Iraq.

Foreign minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jaafari received a copy of the credentials f the new Tunisian ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Ibrahim Al-Rizqi.

"The relations between Iraq and Tunisia are numerous, and we are keen to establish a model relationship based on rapprochement and brotherly ties between the two peoples," HE said. "Iraq is an open market for investment and we are ready to increase the volume of investment and trade with Tunisia.

 

HE added that the experience of Iraq in facing Da'esh terroristic gangs was a pioneer and he fought with confidence and achieved victories that dazzled the world, stressing on the importance of coordination and cooperation between the two countries to face the challenges,

 

From his side, the Tunisian ambassador said that his country is interested in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, and readiness to cooperate in all fields, as well as coordination and continuous consultation with Iraq on various issues of common concern.
