FM receives a copy of the credentials of the New Sudan ambassador to Baghdad.

Foreign minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jaafari received a copy of the credentials of the New Sudan ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Yasen Awadh Ismaeel.

They discussed the relations between both countries, and stressed on the bilateral cooperation and the necessity of coordination and uniting the attitudes in the international forums, also they discussed the regional issues of mutual concern.

The minister stated that Iraq looks forward to developing relations with Sudan and elevating them to meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, stressing on the need to continue working to enhance cooperation between the two countries and increase levels of coordination and consultation at all levels.

 

Mr.  Al-Jaafari wished the Ambassador success in his duties in Baghdad, and expressed the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide all services to the diplomatic mission; to develop joint work between the two countries.

 

From his side , the Ambassador presented his country's congratulations to Iraq on the occasion of the victory over the terrorist gangs, expressing his government's aspiration to develop relations with Iraq in all fields and to continue coordination and consultation between the two sides in various issues.
