MOFA condemns the terrorist attack on Marmina church in Egypt

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq condemns the terrorist attack on Mermina Church in Helwan in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which resulted in the deaths of the victims and the horrific mass of worshipers celebrating Christmas and New Year's Day of the Christian brethren and expressing sincere condolences to the families and families of the victims. As a result of these acts of terrorism which are incompatible with all religious, humanitarian and moral principles.

Foreign ministry express its solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt in its war against terrorism, which does not respect the sanctity of religion or belief and penetrates the blood of innocent people. It renews Iraq's firm position, which has fought terrorism and won by renouncing violence, extremism and terrorism in all its forms. And the elimination of schools of extremist thought that produced these sick minds that threaten the security of the region and the world.
