Firstly: Commercial Documents
The legalization of all Commercial Documents in the Iraqi Consular Section must be pre-legalized by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in addition to the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce. Except the Certificate of Origin and the Invoice attached with, which are both have to be legalized by the Iraqi Commercial Attaché in London.

Second: General Documents
All other General Documents have to be legalized by the Iraqi Consular Section provided that they had been pre-legalized by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office or Irish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
For the legalization of Private Power of Attorney issued by the British solicitor firms, then the client must attend personally, and to insure that the photos of both the representative and the client are fixed on the document of the power of attorney in addition to client’s foreign passport number in order to check the identity.

Thirdly: Educational Certificates
Educational Certificates for legalization by the Iraqi Consular Section must be pre-legalized by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office /or Irish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Iraqi Cultural Attaché in London.
